News Relating To The Flaming Lips

This is about the best place to find Flaming Lips news that is more or less official but Hellfire forget to tell me stuff so some of what you'll read here is also heresay. But then that's probably half the fun..

If you have any information that you think other flipsfans may like to know about, then please do send it to me and I'll try to get around to doing something with it. On with the rumours....

If you're in London, tune into XFM from 11pm tonight. This from John Kennedy:
"After playing the whole of the new releases from the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Cornershop and DJ Shadow well up front, it is now time for the new one from The Flaming Lips, 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots', the eagerly awaited follow up to 1999's 'The Soft Bulletin'. In the first hour of the show you can hear me talking to brother Wayne Coyne, the singer and frontman with the band; then in the second hour you can hear the new album in it's entirety with track by track commentary from Wayne as well. Obviously this is not to be missed. Tell your friends, tell the family and make sure you're listening."

Should be fun....

The pre-release tour of the UK has been going very well. Nearly of the shows have sold out, including places the band has never managed to sell out before. Manchester was a particularly good show on Sunday night. The set list has mostly been:
Intro
Do You Realize??
Race For The Prize
The Spark That Bled
Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots Part 1
Lightning Strikes The Postman
Feeling Yourself Disintergrate
Sleeping On The Roof
Fight Test
Can't Get You Out Of My Head
She Don't Use Jelly
Morning Of The Musicians
Waitin For A Superman
A Spoonful Weighs A Ton
How Will We Know?
ENCORE: What Is The Light?/The Observer

The guys are having fun - Steven and Michael are still in the rabbit suits, and the mirror balls look beautiful.

Magazine watch update:
NME out tomorrow, see the album review online here.
UNCUT came out last week, and they gave the album 5/5 and ran a great 5 page feature on the band. The writer dubbed 'Yoshimi' "The greatest album released in Uncut's lifetime", and gave it 5.5/5 because they thought it was so awesome!
MOJO came out a couple of weeks ago, with an interesting feature on the Lips. The band were photographed around Oklahoma wearing towelling bathrobes and slippers. Michael kept his socks on for one photo...
Check out another interesting feature that ran in the Guardian on 28 June.

I also hear that the August edition of Spin has a feature on Christmas On Mars, as well as covering the album and so on.

In the UK, Radio One's Mark Radcliffe has made 'Do You Realize??' his Record of the Week this week.

So it begins.....

The band recorded their appearance on 'Recovered' for BBC TV yesterday. The show had an Elvis themed section, so they covered 'Suspicious Minds' ("in the style of Spacemen 3") as well as doing Kylie Minogue's 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head'. They also recorded 'Do You Realize??' for the show, which is the last in the current series. This will be aired in early August, and also features Darren Hayes and McAlmont and Butler.

The Kylie song was pretty good fun - they were doing it seriously, but also pretty different from the original. Half the audience loved it, while the rest were a bit confused.... might have been the rabbit suits Steven and Michael were wearing, or maybe the Frog (Wayne's nephew Dennis) and the Dog (Kliph Scurlock) alternately playing onstage and cavorting in the crowd.

The UK single, 'Do You Realize??' will now be out on 5 August, not 1 July as previously mentioned hereabouts.

Sorry if you were eagerly awaiting that one next week. Only two more weeks until the album is out though....

The observant souls among you will have noticed that the website overhaul has begun. The front-end 'holding page' is to give you a taster of what's brewing. Much more to come in the next couple of weeks or so..... you'll like it. A lot. I promise.

Meantime, check out the 'Do You Realize?' video and sign up for the mailing list (even if you did in the past - it seems some of the old addresses went missing) - WBR are going to be sending some stuff out really soon. It's all linked from the new front page.

Wayne is on a whistle-stop press tour in Europe this week. Including some radio stuff, so pay attention to the air-waves!!

This is to precede the release of 'Do You Realize?' as a single in the UK on 1 July. I understand this will be available as a DVD, which will include the very crazy video....

The Hellfire website has a track from the new album available for download. For those who need a further fix, I've been hearing that American Eagle's Songs Of The Summer CD (in-store giveaway of some sort) contains Ego Tripping At The Gates Of Hell, alongside stuff from some other bands including Elbow and Clinic.

We'll be adding some downloads to this site shortly, as part of a general overhaul. Stand by...

Live dates update - the 'Unlimited Sunshine Tour' with Cake does seem to be happening. Cake's website has some info with links to online ticket purchasing. I suspect there will be more dates to come too. Also a few dates have been added on the UK/Ireland tour, with some extra info on some dates too.

Note that I had the wrong venue for Cambridge in the UK - this is at the Junction NOT the Corn Exchange....

5 May 2002
Me
Looks like the UK release dates have been confirmed. 1 July for the single, 'Do You Realize?' and 15 July for the album, 'Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots'.

No final word on the US album release yet, but expect it on 16 July for now...

4 May 2002

More live hype for you - the band have booked a few shows in the UK and one in Ireland, all with Bob Mould supporting as far as I know. Details on the tour news page.

There may be more, but it's not that likely this time around - doubtless they'll be back again later in the year....

VH-1 reported on Tuesday that The Flaming Lips, Cake, De La Soul, and Modest Mouse will embark on a U.S. tour as the Unlimited Sunshine tour, in mid-July.

No official confirmation on this yet... meanwhile back at the camp, the press work is starting. I think it's Spin, CMJ and Mojo going through OKC early next week.

18 April 2002
Scott Booker on the Hellfire Bulletin Board
"The new album by the Flaming Lips will be titled: "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" the track listing is as follows:

1. Fight Test
2. One More Robot/Sympathy 3000-21
3. Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots pt. 1
4. Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots pt. 2
5. In the Morning of the Magicians
6. Ego Tripping At the Gates of Hell
7. Are You a Hypnotist?
8. It's Summertime
9. Do You Realize?
10. All We Have Is Now
11. Approaching Pavonis Mons By Balloon (Utopia Planitia)

The tentative release date for the US is July 16th, 2002, the tentative release date for the UK is July 15th. Most likely, "Do You Realize" will be the first single in the UK - probably released on July 1st (although that could change at any moment). The Japanese version of the album will have a bonus track of "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots pt. 1" sung in Japanese by Wayne!"

These release dates are not gospel - there's plenty of time for things to get changed yet, so don't be surprised to see them shift a week or two in either direction..... it seems that two songs didn't make the final cut, and I guess they may well turn up as b-sides soon enough. These are: 'Funeral In My Head', and 'Up Above The Daily Hum'.

Rolling Stone had a story today confirming the title of the new album. The article covers Wayne's explanation of how the title came about, and also the involvement of Yoshimi in making the record.

The release date for the record is still to be confirmed, but looks like being mid-July in the US, and probably similar or slightly earlier for the UK.

I know I've said this before, but work is currently underway to prepare a serious site update in time for the new record.... over the next two months, expect a new front end, some minor changes to the current content and a couple of new bits to the site.

Release of a new record being a deadline to focus the mind and all that....

1 April 2002

Pitchfork Media had an April Fool's story on the Lips today. It covered the movie previews screened at SXSW, and is fairly harsh, and not entirely obvious to some as a spoof. Anyway, should you happen to read it, fear not - all is well with the band and the movie...

Should you wish to see the offending article, it's here but bear in mind that the scenes described (in terms of both the preview event and the movie segments) are not real!!

31 March 2002
Dave Fridmann's website
The news on Tarbox Road states: "Dave Fridmann in mastering the new Flaming Lips record tentatively titled Yoshimi vs. The Pink Robots for Warner Brothers Records."

The title has not yet stuck for certain! It comes from Wayne's little collection of songs on the same theme, which are dotted through the record.

There will be a Christmas On Mars preview short at South by South West in Austin this month.

This is a five minutes or so piece, incorporating both actual film scenes and some documentary type footage about the making of the film. Update on the Zaireeka situation - Amazon were definitely shipping it, and it seems that some US indie type stores are getting stock in. However, it now seems that Amazon has at least temporarily exhausted it's stock again....

Looks like there are some new copies on the market from somewhere - maybe a new print run, or maybe someone found some stock in the corner of a warehouse. We'll try to find out the details and let you know. Meanwhile, don't get fleeced on Ebay!!

20 February 2002

Word on the street is that Amazon are shipping Zaireeka at the moment.

Seems to work when you order, but not sure if people will eventually get an 'out of stock' email.... however, given that there are suddenly 15 copies on sale at Ebay, maybe some people are getting new copies from somewhere?

Added a few new pictures from the latest round of shooting onto the Christmas On Mars page today.....

This is still just being worked on between sessions up at Tarbox Road, where there's mostly just mixing left to do. Looks like the film is coming on nicely though, despite (or maybe because of) the piece-meal creation process.

11 February 2002
Me
Since people keep asking, here's some clarifications about current Flaming Lips projects... The new record due in May is separate from the film project, 'Christmas On Mars'. The film will have it's own soundtrack with different songs/scoring. This is different again from the Christmas record that was talked about last year - that is indefinitely on the back burner and, although Wayne would certainly like to get back to it someday, there certainly won't be anything happening on that this year.

The new album is taking shape nicely and, once it has a title, there'll be a bit more of a preview on the site. Wayne has described the tone as being similar to that of The Soft Bulletin, but rest assured it won't be a retread. The sound has more of an electronic edge, still moving forward and covering a wider musical span than before. As for the songs, Wayne's sounding sort of wistful or maybe yearning, but he's still on the big themes - the meaning of love, dealing with regret, right and wrong, the effects of sadness on sanity, and being saved from robots.

Wayne has just arrived back from the studio. The Lips finished two more tracks bringing the total so far to 14. Titles so far (most likely to change):
1. Do Ya Realize
2. Are You A Hypnotist
3. Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
4. Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots pt. 2
5. Funeral In My Head
6. Up Above The Daily Hum
7. Fight Test (Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots pt. 3)
8. Sympathy 3000-21
9. One More Robot
10. Ego Tripping At the Gates of Hell
11. In The Morning of the Magicians
12. It's Summertime
13. All We Have Is Now

The target release dates for the new record are May 2002 in Europe, and June/July 2002 in the US and the rest of the world. There's no official album title yet, but here's some (current) song names:
All We Have Is Now
Do You Realise?
If I Go Mad
Ego Trippin'
Mourning Of The Magicians
The Funeral In My Head
The Daily Hum (a version of this was recorded for the Evening Session radio show in the UK in 1999!)
The Pink Robots (Yoshimi version) - the title of this song is expected to change.... there are also plans afoot to record a Japanese language version!
There's also the other songs I mentioned back in March.... including Are You A Hypnotist? and It's Summertime.

Of 12 songs recorded, a third are instrumental, although I'm not sure whether they will all stay that way. Finishing touches are, of course, still being applied....

More Xmas On Mars news:
1) It seems likely that Warner Bros will put this out on DVD in time for Xmas 2002!! As well as the film itself, the DVD will have the score as separate tracks, and all of the band's promo videos.
2) The bulk of the remaining shooting is expected to take place early next year, January through April.

No cinema release is planned for the film at present.

Steven and Michael are working on a record with Steve Burns, of 'Blues Clues' fame. Steven is providing the music, Michael is engineering, and I guess Dave Fridmann is producing.

Okie Noodling is now available to buy on VHS! Direct from Brad Beesley's Little League Pictures, I believe.

Apparently, with the latest few trips to the studio, Steven has now effectively moved to Fredonia and is staying with Michael and Catherine there. He's now being utilised around Tarbox Road studio quite a bit, as a musician on call.

Things have been happening in my three months of hiding. Surprise eh? So, here it all is:

1) Wayne's movie making continues steadily in and around OKC. No footage to show y'all yet, but here's a few snaps from very early in the screen-testing/fiddling around stages....

2) In tandem, and partly intertwined, more songs are also being created. Demos have been laid down at Bell Lab Studios and yet another return to Tarbox Road is imminent. Expect great things - the yield so far is nice.

3) Some happy friendly Lips fans kind of people have been getting together in clubs and stuff to play Zaireeka. An easier way to get 4 CD players than ram-raiding the local Best Buy and also a fun way to meet some nice people. And it's louder through lots of PAs. Anyway, here's some links:
Adam's Lips site
Eric's in-development zaireeka.com.

4) Some people have been paying silly quantities of money for Lips stuff on Ebay. Let's not lose our grip on reality here people... remember to eat!

Things are actually happening rather sporadically at the moment. The news may ebb and flow as a result...

Well, what can I say? It's been a while, I know. The good news right now is that the server access difficulties have been resolved and I can dust off this here computer and start doing some stuff at the site again. The bad news is that it's summer, it's obscenely hot here in England (it's no word of a lie!), and this here computer is not very well. Ah well, here we go......

Movie news:

1. We want people to email to FLipsFans@aol.com if they have any location ideas (preferably in Oklahoma) and if they have any realistic looking space suits we could possibly use.

No show in Austin this week, after all. Sadly there were some troubles with getting the thing organised at the UT end, so it won't be happening.

Rolling Stone have a news story on Wayne's film. It's got the explanation of the plot, which only Wayne's own words can properly explain....
This story has also been picked up on nme.com and billboard.com with short features based on the info here.

By the way, I forgot to mention last time that Wayne is also after loan or donation of suitable props/costumes etc for a dilapidated/reclaimed materials Mars colony type of look. (Hey, I only pass the info on, your guess is as good as mine, but I do know that a couple of good looking space suits would come in handy.)

And, from the Okies out there, word/use of suitable locations to shoot in (most of the film is set inside the Mars base, but external Mars-scape stuff is good too). Any ideas/offers of help in these departments, email FLipsFans@aol.com, mentioning the film in the subject title....

Wayne is currently working hard on developing his film about the first Christmas on Mars. This is intended to be a full independent feature, and will be made in conjunction with all the usual suspects (Bradley Beesley, George Salisbury etc). They are currently sorting out screen testing, effects testing, props and the like, and also looking for further backing for the filming costs.

The plot of this tale basically boils down to a futuristic Christmas fairytale. The central character will be played by none other than Steven Drozd, and Wayne is set to be typecast as a Martian (or some kind of alien anyway)... it seems that most of the extended Flaming Lips family is set to appear at some point, "because they work for real cheap."

Much more to come on this very soon, rest assured. In fact we'll probably have a few pages on it, and there may even be a chance for Okie natives to amuse themselves by checking out the filming.

Today the band finished up the first studio session for the next record. Four songs were worked on - the working titles are:
Are You A Hypnotist?
It's Summertime
Syrtis Major
Utopia Planitia
.. but these will probably change - especially the last two, which don't have vocals yet.

The next record promises to be very interesting indeed. The songs are in various states of completion (It's Summertime is more or less done) but the sound could perhaps be described as somewhere in between the 1999 Peel Session and the B-side of the promo Xmas single from last year.... and more, of course.

Brad is a long time Lips associate, helping on most Lips promo videos and director of the Lips bio-short, "The Flaming Lips Have Landed".

Hellfire
The band will head off to the studio on 28 February, until 12 March. They'll be at Tarbox Road once again, with Dave Fridmann. Ostensibly, this is to work on a follow up to The Soft Bulletin, but the mooted Xmas project could also figure, depending on what ideas get kicked around in the meantime...

Don't expect that next record before 2002... the band figure on working long and hard on this one, as per The Soft Bulletin. The strategy will probably be several short stints in studio, as before.

Neoji
Last year, Neoji got a few Lips fans together to play Zaireeka in the street and in the park, in Tokyo. He's now put some pictures and (for those who can read Japanese) some words together on a website, if you're interested.

See, it's not difficult to get some people together and have some fun. I hear tales that some people at the University of Warwick are going to do likewise... and now some people in Tulsa I think. Get on the email discussion list at Onelist to hear about these things.

The Flaming Lips trading post has moved! Now at flaminglips.netfirms.com. The site is doing well and going strong.... over 3000 hits since about the end of October!! Also added recently is a 'Free-For-All' link page where people can post their own pictures of the Lips in concert.

Get on over and have it kids....

The lips are on mp3.com - they have got an interview and "She Don't Use Jelly" to download.

Haven't checked it out myself, but it sounds like it could be interesting.

The NYE show at the Metro in Chicago was a KICKASS show... they did some custom video stuff for it, with the countdown to the new year, and a 2001: A Space Odyssey take-off as well. Check out some of these photos.

Aaron says the photos towards the end are probably the best ones...

Some news about this site: we're having a few problems with the set-up at WBR, which we hope to resolve quite soon. The upshot is that www.flaminglips.com can only be updated sporadically for a period (maybe a week or two). HOWEVER, while this situation persists, you can see fully updated news etc by heading to www.wbr.com/flaminglips

Sorry about this - out of my control. Normally the two URLs point to the same place, but not at the moment.....

Sonicnet ran an interesting little article on the Lips today. Covers the Christmas record, amongst other things.

This is quite interesting.

Word on the street is that WBR are putting out a promo 7 inch of White Christmas. What version this is, I don't know.

Alleged to be on White vinyl (of course!)

The Lips are playing New Years Eve at the Metro, in Chicago, IL. Hum are supporting - see tour news page for more details.

Rumours abound of an imminent OKC show too, but there's nothing to report at the moment I'm afraid.

Check out nme.com for their poll of artists' greatest influences. The Lips come in at 15, of 20. David Bowie edges out Radiohead and the Beatles at the top of the list.

The full feature is apparently in this week's NME... oh, and get voting for the Lips in this year's NME readers' poll eh? And this website, if you're feeling kind!

Scott Booker
Scott's latest on the Xmas record (due next year, with luck):

"When I was out in LA last week, I was excited to hear that Paul Simon would be playing at a small theater just down the street from my hotel. I've never seen him perform and have been a fan for years - so I get some tickets from the Lips product manager at WB (Paul and the Lips are labelmates) and also a guest pass for an after show meet-and-greet. I thought this would be a great chance to ask Mr. Paul Simon to sing on the Lips Xmas album (or EP or whatever it ends up being).

So, I took a copy of the Lips album and a copy of "Hearts and Bones" (a Paul Simon album that I'm a fan of) hoping to get him to listen to the Lips and sign my "Hearts and Bones" album cover. Well, after sitting through a two and a half hour show of new songs and old songs with new arrangements (although there were a couple of highlights) the "invited" went to the after show meet-and-greet. All the WB people were there as well as free drinks and lots of great pastries. After about 15 minutes, Mr. Simon appeared with his assistant, who introduced him to everyone. Mr. Simon seemed quite congenial, shaking everyone's hands and chatting nicely.

After a few minutes I noticed he was available so I went up to Mr. Simon with my "Hearts and Bones" CD cover and the Lips album. (I had placed the "Hearts and Bones" cover on top of the Lips album so after he signed it I could have the Lips album right in hand.) I went up to him said hello, told him how great the show was, and asked him if he would sign my "Hearts and Bones" CD. "I can't do that here," was the reply. I was stunned only for a millisecond (Michael Stipe pulled the same stunt on me a decade and a half ago, claiming it devalued his signature - so I knew artists sometimes refused to sign stuff - which is fine with me.)

OK, so I put the cover in my pocket and try to hand him the Lips CD. He doesn't take it from my hand - he just glances at it. I start my pitch, explaining who the Lips are, that we are labelmates, working on a holiday album... He looks up at me and mumbles a "mmhmmm", when his assistant comes up and takes the CD from me and they both walk away.

Now, I don't see that as necessarily meaning NO, but I would say the odds are against Mr. Simon singing on the Lips record..."

Well, you can't win 'em all... We'll keep the info coming, as it arrives.

Cody Yates
Having met Scott Booker at the show in Fort Worth the other day, Cody discovered that Scott has been in contact with David Bowie's people about him being on the Christmas Album...

We'll put together a full update on the progress with the record once there's something useful and coherent to say.

The Lips will be on the NME TV show on Bravo, in the UK, tonight Sun 5 Nov. This apparently is some footage from the Iceland show. Not sure how long their bit is. Short probably....

Sorry this is late, but I've not been home to do site stuff. They showed it the last two nights too...

Xfm
Xfm [London 'indie' style radio station] is about to release a Christmas compilation CD featuring an exclusive track by the Lips, 'White Christmas (demo for Tom Waits)' which they recorded in September. If you want to listen to an audio clip of the track and find out more about the album, check out the Xfm website.

This is a demo for one of the proposed collaborations on the planned Lips Christmas album. The track is in NME's top 10 things they're checking out this week... While I'm talking mags, this month's Q Magazine extends Wayne's infamy by featuring him in a piece on mad props - with his puppets and fake blood.

"In light of all the Flaming Lips concerts and shows being offered on eBay and other auction sites for incredibly inflated prices, a site has been created for you, the trader to swap collected concerts of the Flaming Lips. It is a brand new site and needs members. Check out The Flaming Lips Trading Post"

Apparently, what you do is post a listing of your acquired shows and someone visiting the list looks over what you have, then emails you for a trade. But it is trade only and not on anything that's in print and available in stores. Check it out, make it work and life could be better.

"I just thought people might want to know that Columbia House has plenty of ZAIREEKA's for about $15.00 a piece. I even got two them for myself. You do have to go through the webservice though and of course you have to be a member."

There you go.... quite a few people have mailed to say the got them this way, but there often seems to be some kind of confusion about whether they actually exist. Just keep on tryin'!

"Hey there! Its Eric from 'Home', and I am officially putting out the command to all my brothers and sisters to COME THE FREAK ON! We're taking over a building in Brooklyn and filling it with tons of music and visual treats. It shall be joyous insanity. An army of the best Floridian minds is making the trek up to perform, and it'll be Home's last public outing til next Spring. So, if'n you're in town, COME ON!.."

See www.screwmusicforever.com for complete info.

It's not actually Lips news I know, but what the hell - it sounds like a lot of fun, and Home are a good bunch of guys after all! Go check out the line-up... there's a lot of stuff going on with this.

It's been pointed out that Ebay is a fairly happy hunting ground for Zaireeka, so long as you're happy to pay.... or you can try some of the other on-line auction houses.

This is true, but watch you don't get ripped off eh? Remember it'll be repressed sooner or later...

And take care around some of the other Lips stuff on offer - a lot of it is at vastly inflated prices for not that much. Plus some of it is really not what it seems; in many cases the 'ultra-rare' is not so.....

10 October 2000
Me
Hmn. One's attention wavered there - it's only been 6 weeks.... Still, not too much to report, with the band on the road. I've also been on holiday, but normal service is kind of resumed now. So, here's some answers to some currently common queries:
1) Sorry, I can't help you with tickets for shows. I list em when I get the dates, that's it.
2) Can't help you with getting Zaireeka either. It is currently not in print, there are vague plans to put it out on DVD in the next year or so, plus a repressing of the 4CD version, but that's really all I can tell you - you just gotta search stores and the net if you want a copy in the meantime...... every now and again I get mail from people who strike gold, but there's no surefire plan to follow.
3) If you want Lips info, please sign up on the site and if the people at Warners get around to it, you'll get news.. sadly I don't have the time to maintain my own email list any more and I can't currently get access to the main WBR list (or anyone at WBR for that matter) to use that one for ya.... sorry!
4) The Soft Bulletin is not available on vinyl. No plans are afoot for this to happen either. But the CD really does sound just fine...
5) The live shows are still using pre-recorded video/sound with all 3 members of the band. There are no current plans to hire extra musicians for the road. But, again, swallow those prejudices and check it out - you might just enjoy yourself!!!
6) The Iceland festival is now confirmed. 21 October.
That's all for now..... except to say I really don't know anything about cold sores. Sorry.
x Drew

Course, if anyone gets any handy info to give out on any of the above, just drop me a line and I'll put it up!!

V2000 went well this last weekend. Balloons everywhere at Hylands Park for the Lips last UK show until at least next spring. There should be some fairly silly pictures of a bus full of balloons quite soon...

Unfortunately Done and Dusted's planned footage of the show in Chelmsford didn't come off, but they're gonna have a video interview with Wayne to check out.

A reminder: 'The Flaming Lips Have Landed' - if you happen to be in Chicago this weekend, get to the Fine Arts Theater at 418 South Michigan Avenue this Sunday (20 August) at 4.30pm. It's a documentary worth seeing, kids.

This is part of the 7th Annual Chicago Underground Film Festival.

Site news (well, kind of): we're doing a link up with Done and Dusted who are going to have an archived webcast of the v2000 set the band will be playing this weekend. It won't be up for another week or so, but keep your eyes on the link on the front end of the site.

MTV are filming the other stages, but done and dusted are doing the business in the JJB Arena, so we get some nice Lips webcast. Should be fun....

"We're on the bus in Spain on the way to Portugal right now. It's pretty hot down here! Ugh. The French show was really great. We'll be in London for a couple of days next week. Wayne wants to go to some restaurant that serves insects, so obviously we're all really looking forward to that... Then of course it's V2000 before a nice month's rest. See you in England!"

We'll see if we can get some pictures of the bug feast eh?
