By way of explanation....So this is 'the' Flaming Lips website....? Yeah, you're in the right place. Maybe it looks like a fallout zone or something, but we're getting there. This place is what they call a 'fan-site'. I'm never sure what that means, but I suppose it's because I'm a fan and I do this site. It just happens that WBR decided it would be easier to get me to put it on their server so you can find it, and so I can put lots of big files and amusing gadgets on board too. Of course, these weird arrangements mean you have to remember I have a normal (let's not split hairs okay?) life too and things don't always get done as fast as I'd like - you'll just have to dig in and wait for me to find the time.... That said, things are finally moving and there's plenty more cool stuff planned in terms of improvements. So, keep coming back, keep writing to me (at flips@burned.demon.co.uk) and keep filling in the forms, guestbooks and all the rest. Oh, and keep an eye out for stuff that's broken, mis-typed, or generally a bit wrong. Send me anything you want about the Lips, not just commments - news, rumours (they don't tell me everything!), stories, reviews, art, photos, whatever...... I'll use it where and when I can, if it fits the bill!
