The Official Rod Stewart Fanclub was founded in 1981. What makes us so outstanding in our field is that we have Rod's personal support and full co-operation. The club is run by John A. Gray for love of good music and not profit and our pledge is to treat each and every member with the same individual touch that we ourselves would expect. The basis and foundation of the club is the Rod Stewart quarterly magazine, SMILER. This glossy, high quality, forty page publication features a wealth of excellent exclusive colour and B&W photos of Rod dating back to his childhood right up to the present day. SMILER also contains multi-regular features such as up to date news, editorials, readers letters and cartoons, as well as a wealth of special features, exclusive interviews and vintage press items. We're in frequent contact with Rod himself, which means any news from him is a direct and accurate preview. SMILER is essential reading for Rod Stewart fans around the world - we now reach more than thirty countries - and our free classified ads will introduce you to the art of Rod Stewart collecting and worldwide pen pals! In addition, we provide regular newsletters and gave our members the opportunity to buy best concert tickets on Rod's recent UK tour! SMILER is published in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Yearly subscription is detailed below and includes four issues of Smiler, a free back issue and a membership card. Price includes all postage and packing costs. Alternatively we are offering one year membership plus twelve back issues at a special bargain price. SMILER is based in Morden, Surrey, England and serves members all over the world.
